WEB Du Bois Emhoff, commonly known as Doug, is an American entertainment lawyer who is married to Vice President Kamala Harris. He has two children from his previous marriage to Kerstin Mackin Emhoff: Cole, 26, and Ella, 21.

Cole Emhoff is a graduate of Colorado College and works as a producer and director in Los Angeles. Ella Emhoff is a model and artist who graduated from Parsons School of Design. Both Cole and Ella are named after jazz musicians John Coltrane and Ella Fitzgerald, respectively.
Harris' Relationship with Her Stepchildren
Kamala Harris has a close relationship with her stepchildren. She has often spoken about her admiration for their accomplishments and her love for them. In a 2020 interview with The New York Times, Harris said, "I love Cole and Ella as if they were my own. They are brilliant, talented, and compassionate young people."
